YOGN 82
Townsite’s Brewer Engineer, Cedric, is Belgian so naturally he chose to brew styles from his homeland for this limited edition series. You will recognize the beers in this ssies by the Canadian-Belgian flag on the label.
This year’s edition is a fresh take on last year’s Charleston, the triple that started off the series, sort of Charleston 2.0 if you will, with the same floral nose but less boozy aromas, more citrus notes and a lighter body. Be sure to handle this one with care or you may not see the 9% ABV coming until it’s too late …
Each Hulk beer also features ‘Artist’s Series’ labels: artwork created by different local Powell River artists. YOGN 82 features the art of Emma Bell.
